Maarten de Clerck throws potatos back in the tractor during an afternoon on the farm in Swifterbant, the Netherlands. The de Clerck family has been farming wind energy for over a decade. Together the two brothers, Stephan and Ralph are producing over 8MW of wind energy and selling it to the grid. The wind energy is an important crop that allows them to diversify their product. They continue to farm their land, planting potatoes and the wind mills run in the background.
